📍Journalism is an incredibly powerful tool. It should never be used against someone but rather for something.
📍Its purpose is to bring visibility to what others cannot see or do not dare to see.
📍Journalism is not about manipulation as some like to define it. It’s about changing something in this world.
📍At its core, journalism is about responsibility - responsibility for the own words and for the public.
A story by a journalist should be defined by three words: compelling, accurate, responsible. If even one of these is missing, the result, in order, is mediocrity, poor quality, or pure manipulation.
